Sibling harmonies are always special, and We're All Just Passing Through's brother-and-sister duo Travis Johnides and Alexa Sakal make the most of them.

On their new EP "I'll Sing You a Song in the Morning" (We're All Just Passing Through), the duo from Centerport tell charming little stories the way folk singers have for generations. The twist is how Johnides' emo-tinged vocals, perhaps influenced from his stint with Long Island scene heroes The Goodwill, and Sakal's unique harmonies fit together.

The title track, about a rainy run to the LIRR station with an umbrella, shows the duo's magic, though "Here Comes the Laughter," led by Sakal, feels more durable.

We're All Just Passing Through's new work only raises hopes that they are here to stay.
