Jennifer Lopez has canceled her "This Is Me… Live" summer tour to spend more time with her family.
Concert promoter Live Nation said Lopez will be "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
Lopez released a statement Friday on her website, explaining her decision.
"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," Lopez, 54, wrote. "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…"
Celebrity sites have been reporting for several weeks that Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck were experiencing marital troubles.
Lopez was scheduled to play UBS Arena in Elmont on Aug. 9.
Live Nation on Friday said ticket holders who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster would receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased via third-party resale sites should reach out to their point of purchase for more details.
