Music is coming back to Nassau Coliseum as Judas Priest brings its “50 Heavy Metal Years Tour” to the Uniondale arena on Oct. 18. Queensrÿche will serve as the special guest.

“Defending the heavy metal faith for 50 years, the Priest is back,” said lead singer Rob Halford in a statement. Guitarist Glenn Tipton added, “Time to don the leather and studs and roll out the Priest Machine.”

With this tour the band is celebrating its 50th anniversary as well as its upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the Musical Excellence Award. Additionally, the band released a career-spanning box set, “50 Heavy Metal Years of Music," and is currently working on a new studio album, which Halford described as “adventurous,” that’s due in 2024.
