Following last night's sold-out show at Yankee Stadium, Madonna has announced another area appearance, extending her run at Madison Square Garden in November.
Her “MDNA” tour, rehearsed at Nassau Coliseum throughout May, will now stop at Madison Square Garden Nov. 13, in addition to her sold-out show there on Nov. 12, as well as her sold-out show at Yankee Stadium on Saturday. Tickets for the Nov. 13 show go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 through Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Martin Solveig will open the show.
On a sort-of related note, Avicii opened last night's show at Yankee Stadium with a great hour-long DJ set, though, oddly, he was never seen. The only thing that appeared onstage, aside from the video screens, was the occasional puff of smoke, and his absence actually detracted from the music he was playing. Solveig is a far more outgoing performer -- hopefully we actually see him.
