Christmas queen Mariah Carey will play her first Long Island concert in 18 years when she brings her annual holiday show to UBS Arena in Elmont on Dec. 15, marking her debut at the venue. Her “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time Tour” concludes two days later at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

General-public tickets go on sale Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com.

“It’s not time yet, but I have exciting news‼️” the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Famer, 55, wrote on social media Friday. “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time, my biggest holiday tour to date, is coming to 20 cities starting November 6, 2024!,” opening that night in Highland, California.

Five-time Grammy Award winner Carey, who was born in Huntington and raised there and in Melville, Northport and Greenlawn, last played Long Island on Sept. 3, 2006, when her “The Adventures of Mimi Tour” stopped at what is now Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh. (She had been scheduled to play Nassau Coliseum with Lionel Richie in 2017, but that show was canceled.)

The star has made herself synonymous with the Yuletide through her 1994 perennial hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You," which last year was among the 25 annual selections inducted into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry.

In addition to starring in holiday-themed programming including the animated feature "All I Want for Christmas Is You" (2017) and the Apple TV+ special "Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special" (2020), Carey has written the children’s books “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (2015) and “The Christmas Princess” (2022).
