Matthew Koma lands Cherrytree European tour slot
Matthew Koma will open the Cherrytree Pop Alternative Tour, featuring headliners LMFAO and Far East Movement, when it heads to European theaters next month.
The Seaford singer-songwriter, who is wrapping up work on his major-label debut for Interscope Records, will be part of the Cherrytree Revue, a trio of up-and-coming artists from the Cherrytree/Interscope roster, along with Natalia Kills and Colette Carr.
The tour kicks off Feb. 18 in Stockholm, Sweden, and ends March 22 in Lisbon, Portugal. Koma – who had his first major-label releases last year when his song “Novocaine Lips” was part of the “Abduction” soundtrack and he was featured on the Lil Playy hit “Birthday Dress” – plans to release his first Interscope single in late spring, with the album to follow later in the year.
