Miranda Lambert leads ACM nominations

Miranda Lambert landed seven nominations, including entertainer of the year for the first time, to lead this year's Academy of Country Music nominees announced this morning.
Lambert – who also has some high-profile Grammy nominations to look forward to this month – is up for record, song and video of the year for “The House That Built Me,” as well as video of the year for “Only Prettier,” female vocalist of the year and vocal event of the year for her part in “Coal Miner's Daughter” with Loretta Lynn and Sheryl Crow.
Kenny Chesney has five nominations, including album of the year, where his “Hemingway's Whiskey” album will duke it out with “You Get What You Give” from Zac Brown Band, also up for five awards, Lady Antebellum's “Need You Now,” Jamey Johnson's “The Guitar Song,” Dierks Bentley's “Up on the Ridge” and Taylor Swift's “Speak Now.”
Swift is up for four awards, including entertainer of the year, where she will battle Lambert, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
The winners will be announced on April 3 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and televised at 8 p.m. on CBS.
