It’s not even Thanksgiving yet but UBS Arena in Elmont is already preparing for summer. The venue, which opens Saturday, has announced an Aug. 24 show featuring Twenty One Pilots, which brings "The Icy Tour" to Belmont Park. The Grammy-Award winning alternative hip-hop/pop group will also play Madison Square Garden Aug. 23 as part of its 23-city tour.
Comprised of rapper-singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, the duo is supporting its latest album, "Scaled and Icy," featuring the hits "Shy Away," "Choker" and "Saturday." In fact, an updated version called "Scaled and Icy (Livestream Version)" just dropped including never before released performances of fan favorite tracks from the group’s recent streaming event, "Twenty One Pilots — Livestream Experience."
Tickets for the both concerts go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday at ticketmaster.com. A presale is happening through Sunday at noon, however fans must register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program via verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/twentyonepilots22.
