The National Enquirer has printed what they say is a photo of Whitney Houston in a coffin on the cover of their latest edition.

This may not come as a huge shock, considering the Enquirer is known for pushing boundaries and covering outrageous stories. Still, many may feel the tabloid, most commonly seen in supermarket checkout lines, has gone too far with the image.

The photo, which the Daily Mail blurred out on their site, runs beneath the headline "Whitney: The last photo!"

The British paper said the Enquirer claims the photo was taking at the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark during a private viewing.

Though the photo is shocking, this is not the first time fans have had the opportunity to see a star's dead body. Photos of Michael Jackson's body were showed in the courtroom during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician, and those quickly spread online.

Still, the Twitterverse is in a frenzy, outraged over the alleged photo, and the Enquirer became a trending topic on Twitter on Thursday morning, with fans sharing their thoughts.
