It can't be!
The Channel 4 news team would be nothing without its lamp-loving weatherman, Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and it's horrifying to even think of Ron Burgundy and the rest of the gang having to say goodbye to him — but is that what's going on in the new trailer for "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues"?
The latest preview, released Wednesday, sees Ron, Brick, Champ and Brian on a wild road trip to New York to tackle the 24-hour news cycle on the GNN network. The team's reputation precedes them in the Big Apple ("Hey, aren't you the guy who lost his job to his wife?"), and they must adjust to the changing times. (See: first encounters with cruise control, green screens and homosexuality.) It's not politically correct, but it never pretended to be.
"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" hits theaters Dec. 20.
