70°Good evening

T.I. is an amazing rapper, but I don't know if it's his stupidity or love for jail that keeps him going back. Thursday, the video for his single, "Get Back Up," from his upcoming album, "No Mercy" dropped. In the video, the rapper pleads his case to the fans and sends a message to all the haters and those who have been quick to judge him because of his indiscretions.

It's funny that this video came out on the same day Weezy is released from jail and rapper Gucci Mane has all charges against him dropped. Oh yes, and how could I forget Mario?

The R&B singer who was accused of assaulting his mother was also cleared of all charges Thursday. I continue to be baffled by these celebrities who achieve high levels of success, yet still carry on with behavior as if they have nothing to lose or learned nothing from past mistakes.

Chris Brown is also on the song with T.I., and I think this was done on purpose as both have been bashed in the news because of their very foolish and irresponsible actions. He quotes some verses from the Bible in his song about people not judging others if they are not perfect themselves. I agree that no one has the right to judge, but T.I.'s common sense must be on vacation because this is the third time he is going to jail (shaking my head). Not to mention he got his wife caught up in his nonsense, and she may have to serve time because of it. She is taking "for better or worse" to a new level.

All in all, this is a hot song with a message that may resonate with some and be ignored by others. I hope that after this 11-month sentence, T.I. gets himself together for real and stops with all the excuses.
