"48 Hours Mystery," which aired an extensive report on the Gilgo Beach serial killings last year, is returning to the story with fresh details Saturday night. (A clip may be available later today, so check back.) The segment focuses on the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert and her remains, which police said may have been found Tuesday in nearby Oak Beach. It airs at 10.

Reported by "48's" Erin Moriarty, this has a new interview with Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer, above. But there's more. Here's the full program description:

48 HOURS MYSTERY brings you not just Commissioner Dormer’s theory, but also that of a retired NYPD Commander who has studied hundreds of serial killers. The broadcast will include the chilling details of how the killer of the other women terrorized his victims’ loved ones, information about Joseph Brewer who hired Shannan as an escort the night she disappeared, and a closer look at Michael Pak, Shannan’s driver and one of the last people to see her alive. 48 HOURS MYSTERY digs deep to report the latest in this case, in hopes that the families of these victims may one day find resolution.
