Barry Williams is ready to share some stories of a lovely lady named Florence Henderson and other members of “The Brady Bunch” this week.
The actor, who played Greg on the 1969-74 sitcom, will be on hand for Me TV’s “The Brady Bunch — Barry’s Best,” airing Monday-Friday at 5 p.m. Williams has selected five of his favorite episodes and he’ll share stories about what went on behind the scenes — and perhaps in Tiger’s doghouse. Here’s the rundown:
MONDAY — In “The Honeymoon,” viewers got invited to the wedding of Mike and Carol Brady, which was crashed by Tiger and the rarely seen feline Fluffy.
TUESDAY — “Adios, Johnny Bravo” was a tour de force for Williams, who gets a shot at rock stardom.
WEDNESDAY — Jan (Eve Plumb) tries out for the pom-pom girls and utters the immortal line “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia” in “Her Sister’s Shadow.”
THURSDAY — Speaking of Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, watch her get hit in the nose with a football in “The Subject Was Noses.”
FRIDAY — A hexed tiki idol ruins the Bradys’ vacation in part 1 of “Hawaii Bound.” (Parts 2 and 3 air July 17 and 18 at 5 p.m.) Poor Alice (Ann B. Davis) throws her back out during a hula lesson, though her wit remains sharp. “My ‘hu’ went one way,” she remarks, “and my ‘la’ went another.”
