'Dancing with the Stars' coming to Tilles Center
Come and meet those dancing feet from ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."
The tour featuring professional dancers and celebrities from the long-running reality TV competition will waltz into the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville on Jan. 29, LiveNation announced Tuesday. Dance pros Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, Daniella Karagach, Gleb Savchenko, Pasha Pashkov and Rylee Arnold are scheduled to appear. Celebrity guests will be announced at a later date.
This is the third year in a row that Tilles has hosted "Dancing with the Stars." General-public tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at dwtstour.com. Fans of the show can also click on the presale sign-up on the website.
The TV show's Emmy-winning choreographer Mandy Moore, whose credits also include Taylor Swift’s "Eras" tour, the Oscar-winning musical "La La Land" and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," will create the dance numbers and direct the production.
“Directing this tour is one of my favorite times of the year," Moore said in a statement. "I have a long-standing history with the 'DWTS' brand and these dancers, it’s like returning home to family. The collaboration with these world-class performers presents an amazing opportunity to highlight their inimitable talent, their athleticism, and it’s what truly makes them artists.”
