See all the highlights, from red carpet arrivals to big winners, as Michael Che and Colin Jost of "Saturday Night Live" hosted the 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, honoring the best of the past year in TV, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
"Game of Thrones" took the biggest award of the night (best drama) as well as the most wins of any show (nine), while Amazon's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" swept the comedy category with eight wins. Overall, Netflix tied HBO for the most wins.

LI's Glenn Weiss wins for directing the Oscars
Long Island native Glenn Weiss won for outstanding directing for a variety special for "The Oscars."
When thanking his girlfriend Jan Svendsen in his acceptance speech, Weiss said, "You wonder why I don't like to call you my girlfriend. Because I want to call you my wife." He then proposed onstage, slipping his late mother's wedding ring on his fiancee's finger, and joking: "To my sisters and brothers, I didn't swipe it, Dad knows I have it."

After more than nine years on the air, "RuPaul's Drag Race" won its first Emmy, for outstanding reality-competition program. Judges Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage, RuPaul and Ross Mathews in the press room.

Lorne Michaels and the cast and crew from "Saturday Night Live" won for outstanding variety sketch series.
Regina King wins for "Seven Seconds"
Regina King accepts the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie award for "Seven Seconds" from RuPaul, left, and Leslie Jones.
It's Regina King's third win, and fourth nomination, in four years.
