“Seinfeld” may have taken place in New York City, but die-hard fans of the NBC sitcom will have to trade a subway car for a 747 if they want to get to a new spot inspired by the show.

George’s Bar, named after character George Costanza, opened on New Year’s Eve in Melbourne, Australia, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

"We came up with the name George's and worked backwards, concept theming it,” co-owner, operator and “Seinfeld” fan Dave Barrett told the Australian news outlet.

Barrett noted that the bar’s decor will feature popular quotes, autographed photos and other Costanza-inspired memorbilia. Cocktails, including The Summer of George and The Hand Model, are also named for the “Seinfeld” character.

“That’s right -- I may not have an Emmy, but I got me a bar in Melbourne, Australia,” Jason Alexander, who played Constanza on the show, tweeted about the new venture.
