CBS has been posting previews of returning series (see below) and - naturally - there's much interest in this one:  "How I Met  Your Mother," which wraps after the next, the ninth. I post a couple of clips here for your edification - the second, Cristin Milioti's ("Once," "That Face") entrance.

Milioti, as "HIMYM" fans know, is the "mother," and as Milioti fans know, she's a fine Broadway actress and Tony nominee who will, naturally, assume a major presence in the months ahead, as the final season focuses on pretty much just one day: The wedding, or planned wedding, of Barney and Robin. Here's a good Buzzfeed interview...

Hard to believe but Milioti has done done virtually no TV work (I just checked IMDB for confirmation) save a brief role on "The Sopranos" way back when, and cameos on "Nurse Jackie" and "30 Rock."  That's all about to change, as her national closeup will - or should - make her a major star. Meanwhile, I've also posted a duet from "Once" with Steve Kazee (above pic):App users, watch the video at newsday.com/tvzone.
