Hulu announces four new series
In probably one of the more dramatic demonstrations that this newfangled business of watching TV shows on the web is about to go through, we now bring you this news: Hulu will launch four new original series this year, including ones created by James Corden and Seth Meyers. (See clips on the jump.)
Add this bounty to the two new soaps — "All My Children" and "One Life to Life" — which bowed yesterday, and you realize that Hulu is slowly-but-surely moving into that "space" now occupied by the major broadcast and cable networks.
And yes, Hulu is very much a real deal: The service announced this morning at its upfront that it now reaches 350 million users via various devices and that revenue last year was $695 million .?.?.
Here are some clips of the series, which will bow during the summer and this fall .?.?.
