LI’s Madison Beer to star in reality TV show, ‘Making Madison,’ report says

Singer and YouTube sensation Madison Beer, a Jericho native, will be the subject of a reality show, Deadline.com reported Monday. Beer, 17, will star in “Making Madison,” being produced by the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment division Wilshire Studios.

No details were announced. NBCUniversal’s cable networks include Bravo, E!, Oxygen and USA.

Beer rose to prominence in 2012 when pop star Justin Bieber tweeted a link to one of her YouTube videos. She currently has more than 2 million followers on Twitter and 6.8 million on Instagram, as well as 304,602 subscribers to her YouTube channel.

On Monday she tweeted, “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken,” a statement by singer Selena Gomez, who has fought lupus, depression and other issues, Sunday at the 2016 American Music Awards.
