Logo's ‘Fire Island’ gets a premiere date
The gay-oriented cable channel Logo has announced an airdate for its upcoming reality show “Fire Island.”
The series, set in the Long Island community of Fire Island Pines, will premiere April 27, at 8 p.m., Logo said on Tuesday.
“Fire Island” follows a group of young LGBTQ professionals — including Kings Park native and New York University graduate Justin Russo, a New York City-based artist and illustrator — as they share a beachfront house for the summer.
“Fire Island” is from Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Productions.
The show was parodied in a memorable skit on last weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.”
