Old and new in marathon-filled summer TV slate

CLASSIC FILM FESTIVALS Lots of treats this week on Turner Classic Movies. The late Ruby Dee is remembered with "Edge of the City" and "A Raisin in the Sun" (Saturday at 4:15 and 5:45p.m.). July's star of the month, Maureen O'Hara, is featured in 25 Tuesday night films, starting with "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "How Green Was My Valley" (Tuesday at 8 and 10:15p.m.). Racy lady of the '30s Mae West does her thing Thursday night in "I'm No Angel" (8p.m.), "She Done Him Wrong" with Cary Grant (9:45p.m.), "Belle of the Nineties" (11:15 p.m.), and W.C. Fields co-starrer "My Little Chickadee" (12:45 a.m.). And the 100th anniversary of World War I's start takes July's Friday night spotlight, with films like Gary Cooper's "Sergeant York" (8 p.m.) and James Cagney's "The Fighting 69th" (10:30 p.m.). MORE NAKED TV! Here comes another skin-happy "reality" series. "Buying Naked" (Saturday at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., TLC) eyes naturists in need of clothing-optional Florida real estate. Lest unscripted cable's fashion-free pacesetter be overlooked, there's also a marathon of survival series "Naked and Afraid" (Sunday 2 p.m.-3 a.m., Discovery). ALL-ORIGINAL SUMMER SLATE That's what CBS promises Sunday night, when it launches two new-season returnees and a fresh drama series. Back for more: competition trashfest "Big Brother" (8p.m.) and Queens-set Poppy Montgomery procedural "Unforgettable" (10 p.m.). SUMMER FUN SPOTS Water parks, roller coasters and outdoor food -- what else do we need? Travel Channel is ready to roll into summer with new shows, returning faves and seasonal specials.
