'Dancing With the Stars" Wednesday announced the matchups of stars with pro dancers, and as "DWTS" fans well know, the pros can often forge a winner. The following pairings suggest that the ones to watch during the 11th season (which starts Sept. 20 on ABC) are former Lakers' small forward Rick Fox and "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey, who downplayed her chances the other night by citing her age (50). We'll see, Jenn.
MICHAEL BOLTON and CHELSIE HIGHTOWER
Four seasons in, Hightower's partners haven't gone far. Her last was Jake Pavelka.
BRANDY and MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY
Feisty Max is still looking for a winner after nine seasons.
MARGARET CHO and LOUIS VAN AMSTEL
Von Amstel got close to the trophy with Kelly Osbourne.
RICK FOX and CHERYL BURKE
Burke's a bigger star than most of the cast, and has won twice.
JENNIFER GREY and DEREK HOUGH
Helped Brooke Burke and Nicole Scherzinger win.
DAVID HASSELHOFF and KYM JOHNSON
Aussie Johnson got Donny Osmond past the finish line.
FLORENCE HENDERSON and CORKY BALLAS
Ballas' only previous appearance was with another senior citizen, Cloris Leachman.
KYLE MASSEY and LACEY SCHWIMMER
Schwimmer was a "So You Think You Can Dance" finalist, but there'll be no victory here.
BRISTOL PALIN and MARK BALLAS
Big star made champs of Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson.
MIKE SORRENTINO and KARINA SMIRNOFF
A brilliant dancer and five-time U.S. National champ. Lucky Sitch.
KURT WARNER and ANNA TREBUNSKAYA
Was Evan Lysacek's partner. Still looking for a win.
