‘The Bachelorette’ star JoJo Fletcher, winner Jordan Rogers talk life together post show

Jordan Rodgers, who won JoJo Fletcher’s hand in the Season 12 finale of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” Monday night, says he is leaving Nashville and moving in with her in her native Dallas, Texas.

“We’re gonna be moving to Dallas,” Rodgers, 27, said in a conference call with reporters Tuesday. “My career doesn’t change. I own a company that does nutrition coaching and I’ll be doing that from Dallas,” he says, referring to L.F.P. Technologies’ MetPro, founded by gym owner and personal trainer Angelo Poli in Rodgers’ hometown of Chico, California. Also, starting Aug. 23, he will be an in-studio analyst contributing to “SEC Now,” a news show on ESPN’s SEC Network, which covers Southeastern Conference college football games.

“That’s the conference I played in; that’s kind of my knowledge base,” the former Vanderbilt University Commodores quarterback says. He is also the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He has worked in broadcasting “for about a year and a half now, working radio with ESPN” out of Nashville. He also says he’s done some work with Fox Sports and with the Turner Sports site BleacherReport.com. “I enjoy football. I enjoy staying around it,” he said.

Fletcher, 26, who started JHF Realty Development LLC in Dallas in late 2015 just before becoming a contestant on “The Bachelor” Season 20, owns what she’s called “a couple of rental properties back at [her alma mater] Baylor’s campus.”

“Bachelorette” runner-up Robby Hayes, 27, who spoke separately on the call, said he’s returning this fall to the University of Miami, where he plans to obtain his master’s degree in finance. At the time he joined the show, he was a manager at GH Investments in Jacksonville, Florida, where he lives, and a salesman for Myrtha Pools USA in the Sarasota area.

“Back in November and December, I had already been planning on leaving Myrtha Pools and I was shipping off applications,” he says. GH was a company he and a friend founded “that we kind of got off the ground and then I left for the show. I definitely want to get back to working on it with him now that all this is blowing over, but I’ll also be looking for a new job in a new city.”

Indeed, now that all this is blowing over for Rodgers and Fletcher as well, the two say they are glad they no longer must keep their relationship under wraps. “We’ve been in hiding,” Rodgers said lightheartedly Tuesday on “Live With Kelly.” “We bounce around every couple of weeks to these safe houses,” he said. “Every couple of weeks they put us in a house for, like, a weekend,” Fletcher added. “And it’s just us and we watch movies.”

Although, Rodgers confessed, “There was one time she was staying at a hotel in Hollywood, and I kind of threw on a mullet wig and a trucker hat and . . . snuck around” to see her.
