The latest Long Islander looking for love in Bachelor Nation is Christopher N. Stallworth, a 64-year-old contractor from West Babylon.

ABC on Tuesday revealed the 24 senior men who will vie for the hand of 61-year-old Joan Vassos, inaugural star of the dating competition “The Golden Bachelorette,” premiering Sept. 18.

Stallworth, who was born Christmas Eve 1959, is co-owner and co-CEO of Contracting Specialists LLC. The website of the Lindenhurst-based firm notes that its owners “are the third and fourth generation continuing the legacy that started with our grandfather.”

In his free time, says the show’s capsule description for him, “Christopher loves exercising and cooking healthy meals. He would love to cook for Joan and is ready to whip up her favorite dish if she has an appetite for a delicious meal with a handsome date!”

The Central Islip High School alumnus and Mets fan is the father of three adult sons and the grandfather of seven children. He has at least two siblings, sisters Terra and Carolyn. At various times, according to public records, he lived in Amityville, Central Islip, Copiague and Wyandanch before settling into his current home in West Babylon.

Stallworth is religious. He attends the Christian Cultural Center in Smithtown, according to his Instagram, where he often posts spiritual epigrams as well as inspirational tidbits.

Stallworth’s Instagram account also frequently shows him in natty clothing and catalog-model poses, and his self-description in the page’s bio includes not only “Man of God, Father, Contractor [and] Developer” but also “Print model,” though no specific professional examples could be found.

“The Golden Bachelorette” follows last year’s ABC hit “The Golden Bachelor,” the first seniors-oriented show in the long-running franchise. Vassos, of Rockville, Maryland, is an administrator of the private boys school Landon in nearby Bethesda. She has four children — sons Nicholas and Luke, and daughters Erica and Allison — and two grandchildren. Her husband, John Vassos, died in January 2021 of pancreatic cancer, after 32 years of marriage.
