"Today" anchor Savannah Guthrie was married Saturday, announcing at the reception that she was also four months pregnant.

"We are so excited, and overjoyed and feel so blessed," Guthrie, 42, said on her NBC morning show Monday. "It's funny, 'cause we set the wedding date, I bought my dress, and then I found out. So I've been doing a little praying that I would fit in it, and it all worked out."

She and Mike Feldman, 45, a Democratic political and communications strategist, married near her hometown of Tucson, Ariz., "in the middle of the desert," Guthrie said. Her brother Camron, an F-16 pilot in the Vermont Air National Guard, gave away the bride, who wore a lace Monique Lhuillier A-line belted gown, reported "Today."

Guthrie and Feldman met at his birthday party in 2008 through a mutual friend and began dating the following spring, People magazine said. She announced her engagement last May after Feldman proposed during a vacation in Turks and Caicos.

Her wedding guests included her "Today" colleagues, with Al Roker recalling Monday, "It was such a gorgeous setting. At one point after the ceremony, the sun was setting on one side, the other, we're talking about a full moon. It was beautiful."

This is Guthrie's second marriage, following one from 2005 to 2009 to BBC News presenter Mark Orchard. The baby would be the first child for Guthrie and Feldman.

"I feel great, and actually I'm so happy to tell the world," Guthrie said Monday, adding, "Because I can't suck in this gut anymore!"
