Adam West starred as "Batman" in the campy TV adaptation of the DC Comics story from 1966 to 1968.

Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" comic book (in black and white, with four heroes improbably named after Italian Renaissance artists) debuted in 1984. It's seen plenty of versions on TV (and in films), including an animated version that started on Nickelodeon in 2012.

Lynda Carter starred as "Wonder Woman" on the TV show that aired first on ABC in 1975 before moving to CBS until 1979. The show was based on the DC Comics superheroine.
