Award-winning Long Island landscapes
Want some great landscaping ideas? You'll get plenty from last month's Long Island Nursery & Landscape Association award winners. The ceremony took place on January 19 at Milleridge Cottage in Jericho.
For more than 25 years, LINLA has been recognizing the talent of landscape designers from around Long Island. Each year, entries are judged by a panel of horticultural experts, landscape architects and architects, who evaluate projects by their designs, use of plant materials and landscape construction.
Categories include entrances that cost under $35,000, entrances above $35,000, active use areas, passive use areas, miniscapes, single family residences greater than 1/2 acre, single family residences less than 1/2 acre, commerical and first-time entrant.
