A viral game featuring Patient Zero

There is a new game that’s gone viral in my school for the past two years. The game is called Infected. The rules are, you need at least 4 or 5 players. One person starts off being Patient Zero and that person goes around and tries to tag the other players.

When Patient Zero tags one of the other players, the player that got tagged does not switch places with Patient Zero. Like in tag, instead, that person is now working with Patient Zero and is called an infected player, giving you the name of the game.

Now the infected player has to go around and tag the players that are not tagged yet. When every player is tagged, you start a new round and play one, two, three, not it, to see who is the next patient zero and keep repeating that process. This goes on until recess at school is over or you have to go home from the park or have to go inside.
