Why should kids go to Broadway shows?

Broadway shows are very entertaining with huge stages, wonderful music and plenty of seating for large audiences. If a kid wants to see a Broadway show, there are many productions that he or she would understand. Adults would probably see a show like “Hamilton,” which is probably too grown up for kids.

Some kid-appropriate shows I have seen are “Wicked,” “School of Rock” and “SpongeBob SquarePants.” I know “Matilda” was also great for kids because my dad saw the show and a lot of adults brought their children.

“Wicked” is my favorite show because there are amazing special effects, like when Elphaba, the main character, rises off the stage as her dress grows incredibly long. The makeup, costumes and singing are incredible. “Wicked” is a show that audiences of all ages would enjoy.

Broadway shows are very well choreographed with amazing singers and dancers. In conclusion, I think kids should go to Broadway shows to develop a love of music and to be inspired by the performers.
