Dave & Buster’s opens Massapequa location

Dave & Buster’s recently opened a new location at the Westfield Sunrise in Massapequa.

The new arcade is located on the mall's second floor, and features 150-200 games for kids ages five and older. You'll find classic games, such as Pop-A-Shot, Pac-Man and Skee-Ball and newer games like Million Dollar Midway, Candy Crush Saga, Zombie Snatcher, Star Trek Arcade, Star Wars Battle Pod, Dance Dance Revolution and more.

On Wednesdays, Dave & Buster's will also feature a half-price special on arcade games, and there's a prize section where the right amount of tickets can score guests all sorts of swag, including stuffed toys and electronic devices.

"A new virtual reality game based on the 'Jurassic Park/Jurassic World' will be arriving soon, which is good for kids of all ages," says Karen Kelly, sales manager of both the Massapequa and Westbury Dave & Buster's locations.

There will also be seasonal events scheduled throughout the year, including Halloween, Breakfast with Santa, an Easter Bunny visit and a New Year's Eve party for kids. Parents can also book children's parties, which includes an "unlimited play" game option.

While the arcade chain focuses on specialized birthday parties, parents can book communions, bar mitzvahs and other big events. “We can even host a post prom event, so all the kids are safe overnight," said Kelly. The entire venue is available for private functions.
