Getting crafty at Michaels

Did you know that Michaels crafts stores have classes that teach you how to make your own ornaments and other cool things? We visited the Michaels in Riverhead.

We had so much fun, and even though they look very difficult to make, with great instructors it was easy. We made wind chimes with pots, beads, string and paint. Michaels provides you with everything you need.

The instructors were very helpful. They showed us a model and gave us designs but said we could make our own designs if we wanted. We recommend going to Michaels and signing up for the classes on Saturdays. Michaels also is a great place to have a birthday party. Go to michaels.com to find out more.
