Digital graphic tablet lets me draw, create cool art

Over the summer, I purchased a digital graphics tablet because I love reading comics in the newspaper, and I was inspired to make my own.
A graphics tablet is a device that lets you draw on a computer as if you were drawing on a piece of paper. I believe that graphics tablets are a great thing to have if you are interested in art and drawing like I am and you want to start making professional-looking art that you can share with a lot of people over the internet.
One main feature of digital graphics tablets is pressure sensitivity. Basically the harder you push your pen on your tablet, the thicker your lines on the computer. Another feature is the active area. The active area of the tablet is the space in which you can actually draw. I think that the bigger your active area, the better because you can have a lot more space to work with. Finally, an important feature that graphics tablets have are shortcut keys. Shortcut keys allow you to do quick functions on your tablet itself without having to go to your keyboard.
The tablet that I draw on and would recommend to most beginners is the Huion 1060. It is a solid tablet that has a 10-by-6.25-inch active area, 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and 12 customizable keys with 16 additional “softkeys,” which are built into the active area so you can either have extra space to draw or additional keys.
For the time that I have had my graphics tablet, I have enjoyed making silly doodles and (possibly) funny comics that I share with my family and friends. Although I have not posted any comics online yet, I plan on doing so in the future.
I hope that people find digital art as fun of a hobby as I found it and remember that you won’t be good at something from the moment you pick it up. It takes practice and dedication if you want to make the best art you can make. In the words of the legendary artist Bob Ross, “Talent is a pursued interest.
