I love riding horses
I love horses and riding them.
What made me love them was when I was young my family and I went to the beach to collect beach glass. Then a trailer came by and it had horses in them. All of a sudden they took them out and asked us if we wanted to try to ride. We were very young, so they would have to hold us. Everyone said no but me. Yes, 2-year-old me said yes. Ever since then I have loved horseback riding. Well, I never actually went riding until eight years later in September 2018.
Now I love where I ride. I ride at Rocky Hills Farms in Riverhead. I think I got a lot better since I started riding. I am doing two-point and posting trot. Two-point is a jumping position, and posting trot means pushing up and down in the stirrups when the horse is trotting. You have to keep your rhythm; if not, the horse will stop.
I recommend riding for everyone who is into horses. Riding is very fun once you get the hang of it. It is also different from most sports because you really can't do any stretches or workouts to help you warm up, but horseback riding will definitely get easier after a while.
