How many chips are in a bag?

Don’t you get frustrated when there is so much air in the potato chip bag and you do not get a lot of chips? We do, too, so we decided to find out just how many chips can be found in an average 16-ounce bag of chips. We bought eight bags of chips and started counting. Here is what we found:
Wise — 820 chips
Fritos — 780 chips
Utz — 771 chips
Cape Cod — 516 chips
Lay’s — 500 chips
Kettle — 485 chips
Doritos — 400 chips
Ruffles — 314 chips
OMG! What a difference. Wise has 506 more chips than Ruffles. You would be wise to get Wise Potato chips for a party.
