Welcome to the jungle! Well, Jungle Bob’s World of Reptiles in Selden, that is. We visited there and had an amazing time learning about all the cool animals they have.
We met Dylan Smith, who told us all about the store. We learned that the most popular animal was the bearded dragons because they are so easy to care for and they like to be handled.
They have more than 250 crazy cool critters, like huge pythons and a massive snapping turtle that you can feed. Then we met Jungle Bob, who introduced us to Castro the Cuban rock iguana, and a huge albino python that we got to hold. That was so cool!
We also learned you should never release a pet reptile into the wild. You can always call Jungle Bob's at 631-737-6474 with any questions. They offer boarding services for your scaly friends if you go away on vacation.
It was an amazing experience, and it’s awesome to be able to visit a jungle on a chilly afternoon. You can even pay for a private session for you and your family to handle some of the animals you see in our pictures. We hope you get a chance to visit Jungle Bob’s soon.
