Three recently published books may offer support and inspiration to parents of children on the autism spectrum. Take a look:

In "Getting a Life With Asperger's: Lessons Learned on the Bumpy Road to Adulthood" (Perigree, $15), Jesse Saperstein, diagnosed at age 14 and now in his 30s, offers a guided tour of what he's learned about managing emotions, succeeding in school and building relationships. He's also the author of "Atypical: Life With Aspergers in 201/3 Chapters."
