The latest Kohl’s Cares collection aims to help ease anxiety about starting kindergarten — “Clifford Goes to Kindergarten” tells how the big red dog’s owner, Emily Elizabeth, overcame her first-day-of-school fears.
The book is $5, and is just one item in the collection of hardcover books and related soft toys. The collection is available through September, and 100 percent of the net profit benefits children’s health initiatives nationwide.
Other items in the collection include “The Scrambled States of America,” which provides a lesson about all 50 states, and a Clifford backpack featuring an illustration of the smiling pup. The collection is available on Kohls.com and at Kohl’s stores nationwide.
