‘Mrs. Meyer Is on Fire’ book review: Strange fire safety

I read the book “My Weirdest School 4: Mrs. Meyer Is on Fire” by Dan Gutman (HarperCollins). The students of Ella Mentry School are learning about fire safety from Mrs. Meyer, who works for the fire department in town. She has some strange ways of teaching fire safety, and the kids see that she really likes fire a lot!

At one point, Mrs. Meyer even catches fire! I loved reading this book because it was so funny. My favorite part was when they thought Mrs. Meyer wasn’t even a real firefighter. They thought she may have kidnapped a real firefighter and tied him up. She might have even set the school on fire. You’ll have to read to find out. I highly recommend this book because it will keep you laughing, and the illustrations are great.
