Product review: Skylanders app
Skylanders Cloud Patrol is just out on iTunes for 99 cents.
Skylanders, the video game, or Skylanders, the app? That was the question I annoyingly asked my 8-year-old son over and over again as he tried the latter on his iPod Touch.
It’s easier to control the video game, he said, and he didn’t like how you have to pay money for new Skylander characters. The music is different, too, he said, although pretty similar.
“But the game is still really good,” he said, pointing out that he likes the touch-screen feel of the action.
