In the beginning of fourth grade, my wonderful teacher, Mrs. Therese O’Loughlin, came up with You Rock rocks.

You Rock rocks are rocks that my teacher painted and wrote “You Rock.” Kids get a rock if they are nice to others, if they are good listeners, and a lot more.

I have a You Rock rock. My teacher said that when everyone gets a You Rock rock, she will sit with everyone at lunch. Not everyone has one so far, but we are getting a lot closer.

At the end of September, Mrs. O’Loughlin sat with the kids that had received You Rock rocks. We had a great lunch. I got to eat lunch with her because I had a rock at the time.

If you are wondering, my teacher does not take the You Rock rocks back. You get to keep at many as you earn. Our class rocks!
