Ronni Hawk talks ‘Stuck in the Middle,’ fun, food
Ronni Hawk stars on the Disney Channel show “Stuck in the Middle.” Her character is Rachel, a teenage girl with a bunch of siblings. Ronni is 16, and we found her to be very interesting and kind. She followed in her mom’s footsteps as a ballet dancer, and practices six hours a day. But at age 13, she went to Los Angeles and auditioned for shows. She loves her acting career and her entire family supports her.
What is your favorite part about “Stuck in the Middle”?
My favorite part is that it’s one big family on set. So if you mess up or anything, no one’s, like, it’s horrible, it’s OK.
If you stopped acting, would you go back to ballet?
If I stopped acting, I don’t think I would go back to ballet. Actually I want to go to college for archaeology. So I would just focus on that.
What is your favorite app?
My favorite app is definitely Instagram.
Do you ever watch your own shows?
I’ve seen some of the episodes, but its super weird to watch myself and hear myself. So I tend not to watch myself.
Do you get recognized?
I do. When I have straight hair I normally do, but when I have no makeup on and curly hair no one knows who I am.
What’s your favorite junk food?
If they had a Popeye’s, I would go straight to Popeye’s. Popeye’s, pizza, chicken, shrimp.
Where do you like to shop?
I like to shop at Zara, Forever 21 and Bebe. Those are my favorites.
Who do you want to guest star on your show?
I would love Selena Gomez to guest star because we’re both in Latino shows on the Disney Channel. They’re both very similar.
