Do you like to go sailing? If you do, the Sayville Yacht Club is a great place. I love sailing because it is peaceful and you can sail anywhere from the start of spring time to the late weeks of autumn. It’s not just a summer thing. If you want to have a couple of hours of peace and quiet away from your annoying siblings, then this is one of the best things to do.

I started sailing during the summer of 2014. I took sailing lessons every Tuesday and Thursday for three hours all summer. After my first couple of sailing lessons, I became attached to the hobby. The summer of 2015 was my last year of sailing a Flying Scot. This is the type of boat that you would take lessons on as a beginner.

In 2015, my boat was in a regatta, which is a sailing race. There were about 30 people who were in it. The race was from Sayville Yacht Club to Fire Island. My boating team came in first place. The second place winner came in about eight seconds after us. What a close one.

Do you want to be able to do that? If you do, then you should take sailing lessons at the Sayville Yacht Club.
