Spirit Week at William T. Rogers Middle School is a time when the student council chooses fun types of clothing styles that teachers and students can wear.

Some styles that have been done in the past are pajama day, dress like a super hero, teachers dress like students and students dress like teachers, each grade wears a different color, and if it was close to a holiday, everyone would dress in festive clothing, like red, green and white for Christmas or green for St. Patrick’s Day.

The school week ends with Kings Park Pride Day, when everyone wears the school’s colors. It is not mandatory to wear the styles given for the week, and you wouldn’t get into any trouble for it. The student council has had many different ideas for the clothing that students and teachers can wear for each spirit week, and many more ideas to come.
