We both have dogs and they sometimes leave a little furry mess behind when they are resting on our couches and chairs. We were able to test out Sure Fit sofa pet covers.

Marissa’s take: “My golden retriever, Sofie, and my family loved it, especially my mom. It has a nice quality fabric. It’s smooth and easy to shake out all the dog hair. In addition to the quality, it has a nice pattern so it wasn’t plain and boring.

“I think it’s great that it has pockets on both sides. It’s perfect to hold a TV remote or even a water bottle. Also, it drapes over the front of the couch in case your dog’s paws hang over, like Sofie’s. It can also be good if your dog likes to lean up against the couch. It also goes up on the cushions if your dog likes to lay back on the couch, and it helps from sliding off.

“Sofie wasn’t allowed on the couch, but she would sneak on it at night or when no one was home. We would know because she would leave so much dog hair behind.”

Emily wrote: “It’s like a flat soft blanket. It only takes about two or three minutes to put it on your couch. If you ask me that’s awesome because I don’t want my dog’s hair to be on my couch. Also it’s washable so when you have lots of hair on it just throw it in the wash. In my opinion this product is amazing and so good for dogs. You can use it with your cat too. My only problem is it slid a little when my dogs jumped up and down.”
