A great place to visit is What’s Cooking in Oyster Bay. You can make all sorts of delicious foods such as pizza, cookies, cupcakes and many other things, too. They teach you how to make all of the food, then the best part is you get to eat it.

In the past year, I have taken two classes at What’s Cooking with my brother, my cousins, and two of our friends who came the first time I visited.

First, we washed our hands and put on aprons to protect our clothes. My first time there we made pizza, garlic knots and chocolate lollipops in different shapes, and we also decorated vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and blue and green dye for Columbus Day. We got to eat everything that we made. I can’t forget to mention how yummy the lemonade was as well.

The second time we took a class, we made pizza again. We also decorated cookies shaped like stars, butterflies and bunnies. We were able to eat everything we made again, and I was able to decorate the box that I took home with all of my leftovers in it. There was so much food.

If you’re bored, I say check out What’s Cooking and see what class they might be having that day.
