My name is Brody Ferrara and I am 2 years old [this review was what Brody thought of the show as told to his older sister, Natalie]. Today I had the great pleasure of going to the “Sesame Street Live: Make a New Friend” show with my big sister, Natalie, my two big brothers, Nick and Cooper, and my parents. We took the train from Babylon to Penn Station and I could barely wait!

When we first arrived at Madison Square Garden, I was so excited to see the entire “Sesame Street” crew. As soon as we entered the theater, I could see Mr. Hooper’s store and the familiar buildings from “Sesame Street.” Just when we sat down, I heard a voice that I recognized immediately. It was Elmo! He was telling us to take our seats and that the show was about to begin. With my new Elmo spinner and box of popcorn, I was ready for the show.

It wasn’t long before the whole “Sesame Street” crew was on stage, singing and dancing. I was so excited, I had to stand up in my seat so that I could dance and sing along with Elmo, Abby, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Grover, Big Bird and so many others. They even added Grover’s friend Chamki from India. She was a really good dancer.

If I had to choose just one favorite character, I would have to say Elmo because I love Elmo. But I also loved Cookie, Grover, Abby and Chamki, too. They were all such good dancers and the songs were so much fun. I knew a lot of the songs because I love watching “Sesame Street.”

There were so many great songs in the show. One of my favorites was the “Elmo Slide.” I even sang along because I know all the words to that song. I also liked the song Chamki sang, “Jai Ho.”

My favorite part of the show was the part when Chamki showed her new friends from Sesame Street how they dance in India. They danced to “Jai Ho” which got everyone up and dancing. There was even a huge elephant on stage. I also loved when Cookie Monster came up to me while I was dancing.

If the “Sesame Street Live” show ever comes back to town, I will beg my parents to take my friends and me again. I would love to see Elmo, Cookie, Abby, Grover, Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, The Count, Rosita, Zoe and Chamki singing and dancing and having fun again really soon! Until then, I will just have to settle on watching them on TV. Best. Experience. Ever!
