Clean, modern looks at BCBG Max Azria

Usually a little young and flirty, Azria’s BCBG line took on a sophisticated look for fall with clothes the program described as “clean and modern.”

Lots of color-blocked, asymmetrical-hemmed dresses -- mostly in earthy shades with pops of midnight and yellow -- were often shown over skinny crew neck tops. A couple of studded numbers -- a side-draped dress in midnight, a gray cropped top -- looked great, as did some similar looks for evening with the studs replaced by matte sequins.

With everything: cream-colored tights that looked swell on the models, but might not translate so well to the rest of us.
