New jewels from Iris Apfel on HSN

She may be 90 but design personality Iris Apfel isn’t slowing down as near as we can tell.
After exhibits in recent years of her personal collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Nassau County Museum of Art, Apfel has just launched a collection for HSN
called Rara Avis.
The line is not for those who like their accessories demure and quiet. Known for her dramatic dark glasses and her bold jewelry, Apfel has created items that define the term “statement jewelry” -- much of it, she told Women's Wear Daily, inspired by her own “enormous collection of bags, belts, bangles and beads without which I would be lost.”
Look for chunky beaded bracelets and necklaces in great colors, a fun faux shearling handbag, a cute owl pendant, among other things. The pieces will retail for $14.95 to $149.95.
