NOT LIVING THE HIGH LIFE: Malin Akerman, who plays billionaire Bobby Axelrod’s wife, Laura, on the Showtime hit, “Billions” stood out in the crowd at Zac Posen wearing a slinky gown from the designer. Life doesn’t actually imitate art, she notes. “We spend most of our time in trailers,” she said. “We don’t really get to live that life though we do get to go to beautiful places (Sands Point being one of them) and do fun things like sit in helicopters.” As for her dress that night, “I absolutely love it,” but for the record, it might not be right for her blue collar-gone-rich character on the show. “Laura’s a little too casual for this, though just maybe she’d wear it to a gala.”  — ANNE BRATSKEIR

POST ‘FADE’ BRAIDS: After steaming up Kanye West’s recent video “Fade,” which debuted at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, the singer/dancer Teyana Taylor has been generating major buzz. And braids. She and her husband, Cleveland Cavaliers’ Iman Shumpert, sat front row at DKNY, where she flaunted braids that reached way down her back. So who did up her hair? “Actually, my mom,” said Taylor, whose mother volunteered to help her out for a Paper magazine photo shoot, which she’d just come from earlier that day.  — JOSEPH V. AMODIO

TRUMP SPOTTING: Ivana Trump, one of presidential candidate Donald Trump’s exes, has rarely been seen during Fashion Week, but on Tuesday she showed up at Dennis Basso’s show. The reason for her absence lately? “I was in the south of France all summer,” she said. Her thoughts on all the campaign hoopla? “The kids are great, Donald’s great, and I don’t do interviews,” she said, as she gave us an interview. As to whether she’s under the Secret Service’s watchful eye? “No, but I do have a bodyguard.”  — ANNE BRATSKEIR
