Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, 63, might have a new gig in her future.
Bloomberg News first reported Tuesday that President Barack Obama is considering Wintour, who raised more than $500,000 for his re-election campaign, for the role of ambassador to the United Kingdom or France in his second term.
Wintour was the brain behind Obama's Runway To Win fashion line, which featured looks from top designers like Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang and Tory Burch. According to an Obama aide, the line raised more than $40 million for his campaign.
Vogue has not commented on whether or not Wintour was approached about the position, but many are wondering if the fashion queen would ever take time away from her long-held throne at the magazine to delve into ambassadorship.
